Work Experience |
Started working in the National Palace Museum In 1978, Hu Chui engaged in the photography work of cultural relics and historical buildings. He has presided the shooting of dozens of albums reflecting the beauty of Forbidden City and Chinese treasures. These albums, published in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan as well as in America, Japan, Australia and European countries, achieved international awards for many times. In November, 1995, Mr. Hu held his personal photography exhibition in the US Library of Congress. In 1998, Mr. Hu presided over the informatization work of the National Palace Museum, creatively proposed the idea of an integrated museum information system, which elaborated in his writings. The "Digital Forbidden City" project he directed achieved the Innovation Award of the Ministry of Culture of the PRC. Delegated by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, he participated in the formulation of informatization work specifications of the cultural relics and museum industry, such as "work norms in shooting and recording immovable cultural relics, archives, and images", “norms of museum collections index system”, “technological specifications of the two-dimensional images for museum collections”. |
